David Sack, M.D.

Dr. David SackDr. Sack is board certified in General Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. After graduating from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Dr. Sack completed his internship and residency in Psychiatry at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric institute. This was followed by a research fellowship in clinical psychobiology at the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda. His work there as a fellow and later as chief of the inpatient branch included seminal research on seasonal affective disorder and sleep deprivation that led to the development of new non-pharmacological treatments for depression. Dr. Sack has held leadership positions in several national clinical services and research organizations including Elements Behavioral Health, Aspen Education Group and Comprehensive Neuroscience. Dr. Sack has extensive experience working with clients with a range of problems including Bipolar Disorder, Major Depression, Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder, and Alcohol and Drug Dependency.
